There has been a lot of talk this week
over Miley Cyrus' performance on the VMA's this past week. She was
"Twerking" onto pop singer Robin Thicke on stage which caused an
uproar from critics and viewers. People went furious at how inappropriate that
it was and it should not have been shown on national Television.
Her actions were inappropriate and Miley
should of thought of how the public would of reacted before she did that during
the performance but I think people are being way too hard on her. People are
bring up the topic of her starting a "downward spiral" and being a
"terrible role model" to the youth of this generation. What society
needs to remember is that celebrates are human and make mistakes as well, and
we should not be so quick to pounce on their every m ove and criticize them for
all of their mistakes.
It isn't celebrities responsibility to
raise the children of today and she should not have to change who she is to
make the public happy. We can't image how hard it must be for celebrities to
grow up in front of the spot light and have every single one of their mistake
put under a microscope and harshly judged for every single one of their
mistakes. Famous people live and learn like the rest of us, they have regrets
and learn lessons from their mistake just like every other human on this planet
and i think some of us forget that. People don't think of the reasons behind
their actions which is something we need to take to heart.
People criticize Miley for cutting her
hair but little do that know that she did it to raise money for cancer
research. No one focus' on the good and the positive things that they bring to
society but only the bad. I think celebrities like Miley Cyrus, Justin
Bieber, Lindsay Lohan and so many others are greatly misunderstood and not
given the respect they deserve.
